The leases between Student Lodging, Inc. and its tenants are 12-month residential leases. Student Lodging, Inc. and all of its residential complexes are open and available to tenants. Tenants are permitted to stay in their apartments. As such, Student Lodging, Inc. will not permit the early termination of leases. Tenants should check their email for communication from Student Lodging, Inc. or contact the office if you did not receive an email.
Life after the Residence Halls
Student Lodging, Inc. is the only off campus housing that is affiliated with Millersville University. We have a great relationship with the University but are a legally separate entity. The residence halls offered by the University are optimal for beginning students. After 30 credits completed, if a student wants to move off campus we have many different housing options available for them.
SLI strives to give students more freedom than residence hall living, but keep the safety and security as close as possible to the standards on campus. Our properties are all within a close proximity of MU, so getting to class or meeting up for group projects shouldn’t be a problem.
Student Safety is Our Priority
Every unit is equipped with a sprinkler system, fire extinguisher, smoke and carbon dioxide detector. MAs perform a monthly fire safety check of each apartment.
Security cameras are spread throughout each apartment complex and a number of emergency call boxes are along sidewalks or parking lots.
In the residence halls students are familiar with RAs. We have a similar structure in place using MAs (Manager Assistants). Tenants may see MAs during night hours when they are walking the complex to ensure everything is within reasonable noise levels and no safety concerns are present.
Want to live with roommates or just by yourself?
We offer apartments with 1 – 5 bedrooms. Units with less than 3 bedrooms are allowed to share a bedroom with an additional person to help cut cost. We also have a few houses available for rent.
