The majority of our leases are filled during the waiting list period. The procedures for the waiting list are detailed below. When filling out the rental application form please put all the information for your group on one form. Each group will be numbered as they are submitted.

Apartments and Houses

In November, Rental Applications will begin to be accepted for leases starting from May – August of the upcoming year. All MU students will be notified via email the morning applications begin being accepted. In March, groups will be notified whether an apartment will be available.

If you are interested in leases starting at other times of the year, please contact the Office Manager at 717.872.4611. All applications should be dropped off at the Student Lodging Inc.’s office at 508 Hillview Ave. We are open Monday thru Friday from 12pm to 5 pm.

Residence Halls

Rental Applications begin being accepted in November. In October, all MU dormitory students will receive an email listing the date Student Lodging, Inc. will begin accepting Rental Applications.  These applications are to be submitted at the Banking Center in the SMC. Groups will know immediately if they will have a suite for the upcoming school year.

Security Deposit

When your group submits a Rental Application, it must be accompanied by a check or a Money Order from each person listed on the form. Those interested in Residence Hall suites can also pay with cash.  The security deposit amount depends on the type of unit/suite you are interested in. Please contact us for the exact amount. If no unit is available for your group then this deposit is returned with no charge.
